Learn From The Life Of A Man Who Epitomizes The Philanthropic Advisor
Summary
I’m proud to announce that the Planned Giving Design Center’s editor in chief, Randy Fox, has been selected by his peers as the recipient of The International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy’s 2015 Scott Fithian award for his service to philanthropy throughout his life.
He is an example many of us need to follow to enjoy our jobs more regardless of how we make a living, and at the same time benefit society. A win win. Read on and benefit financially from this post.
Fithian Award honorees are chosen for their efforts to uphold the standards of excellence in ethics, service and charitable planning encouraged by the Association. Specifically, the Fithian Award recipients (only one person per year) have elevated the profession of philanthropic planning beyond their own practice.
Randy Fox is the type of person you go to when you don’t know where else to go when it comes to philanthropy or life’s trials. We lost our prior editor in chief (my brother, Marc Hoffman) in February of 2014 to cancer after 16 years of delivering the news to our PGDC members. Randy graciously took the position as the new PGDC EIC. He sees it as a way to reach and teach even more advisors. Just another example of his passion for helping you, me and those in need.
